Mentorship Program
I offer a free six month mentorship program for people who identify as Bipoc and LGBTQIA+. I offer six 2-3 hour classes and cover the basic topics of photography, although this is based on what you’d like to learn. I am also a certified Special Ed teacher and have all my clearances. I have over 20 years experience in teaching and have been shooting since I was a kid. I offer classes to anyone age 8 up (with parent participation and approval) to 99. After the first 6 months I offer an additional sixth months I make myself available to check in and review your work. I can teach over zoom, or in person. My experience is in self-directed learning and project based learning. As a special Ed teacher I am trained to approach each student with an individual approach based on a students learning style and their interest in photography. I also will provide digital and or film cameras for those who complete most the program and are in financial need. My program is free to working class people and anyone making 40,000 or less a year. My skill set lies in portraits, documentary, and street photography. Feel free to call or email to get more info. I am self taught but trained.
